The art deco style is a design style that appeared in France In the early 1920s, and characterized by geometric shapes. The beautiful thing about it, which makes it so unique, is the very different influences that combined into one style, the ancient Egyptian culture, modern art like Cubism, and modern technology of that time.
This style was one of my biggest inspirations when I started my bags line. I love this style and I still goes back to find my inspiration there when I'm starting a new design, or have new idea for a new bag that isn't fully solid yet. So I wanted to show you, in this month blog few of great design that represent this amazing period of the art deco style.
This style influenced the New York architecture. The Empire State Building is one of the most famous buildings, built and designed by the Art Deco style.
